Ballestas Island

To get to the islands you take a boat tour from the city of Paracas. Though it is not allowed to step onto the islands you can go around them by boat and study it's inhabitants. It is not unusual for the sea lions to swim up to the boat and entertain the tourists.

If one is lucky you may even encounter with both dolphins and whales on your way back!

Cloudy winters and warm and sunny summers. Temperature is from 10 -30 in the day and 5-15 at night.
