Nazca Lines

Nazca Lines

There are many theories surrounding these lines being all from a landing strips for aliens to a giant seismograph. However the most likely theory is that off German researcher María Reiche who believe they were part of a vast astronomic calendar. Whose figures marked different solar phases.

Regardless of what their purpose were it is still fascinating to see the giant figures of for example:

the hummingbird, the spider, the condor or the monkey etched into the plain. All together there are more then 30 figures!

The Nazca Plains (there are four areas in total: Palpa, Ingenio, Nazca and Socos)
