Two hotels from Peru included among the best ones worldwide

(09/03/2010)Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, Monasterio Hotel and the Hiram Bingham luxury train, operated by Orient-Express, were the award-winners of several categories of the Readers' Travel Awards prize, a contest organized by the prestigious Condé Nast Traveller magazine.
Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge ranks 8th among the best Hotels of America and the Caribbean, while the Monasterio Hotel is also included in this list, at the 20th position.
These are the only Peruvian hotels selected in this list. Finally, the Hiram Bingham train, operated by PeruRail, was also chosen among the best of its kind worldwide, ranking 7th due to its excellent service, reports TNews.
The election is made by Conde Nast Readers, who chose the winners of this year through a survey evaluating their experiences in the best hotels, spas, airlines, trains and airports worldwide.
