(07/06/2010)The cities of Lima and San Francisco, California, are now connnected by a LAN Peru direct flight,which will be operated four times a week on a modern Boeing 767 with seats for 200 passengers.

Personalities like Tourism Minister Martin Perez and LAN high officials such as Emilio Rodríguez Larraín and Jorge Vilchez, took part iin the inaugural flight, which arrived in San Francisco almost nine hours after its departure.
Manuel van Oordt, Sales and Marketing Manager, highlighted the importance of the new destination, which is a new gateway to the United States, and remarked the wide acceptance it has had at regional level, but very specially among the Peruvian market.
He also said that bookings for July have exceeded all expectations.
