LLAMAC - CAJATAMBO - 7 days / 6 nights
This a trail only for people who doesn’t want to go back to Huaraz city, but to Lima city, going down from Cajatambo town to Pativilca in the Panamericana Highway. In this trekking it is possible to explore the 60% of the Huayhuash full loop and includes the Jahuacocha, Mitococha, Carnicerococha, Carhuacocha and Viconga Lakes, and Yerupaja, Jirishanca, Ninashanca, Carnicero, Siula, Trapecio, Puscanturpas and Pariauccros Peaks. Besides, it is possible to take a bath in the natural thermal water rivers of Viconga.

DAY 1: HUARAZ - LLAMAC - JAHUACOCHA
Early in the morning pick up from your hotel and transfer towards south of the Callejón de Huaylas to Chiquian Town where the non asphalted road begins towards Llamac Village. Here the load is carried on donkeys and starts of the fabulous trail to Jahuacocha Lake in Quebrada Pacllón. Arrival to the campsite at the shores of the lake after 5 or 6 hours. LUNCH AND DINNER INCLUDED.
DAY 2: JAHUACOCHA - RONDOY OR QUARTELHUAIN
Early in the morning start of the ascent of 2 to 3 hours to Sambuya Pass (4735 masl). On the way it is possible to appreciate Solteracocha Lake at the feet of Jirishanca. Then start of the descent to Rondoy Valley. The camPsite can be installed in the same Rondoy Valley or a bit further in Quartelhuain. BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER INCLUDED.
DAY 3: RONDOY OR QUARTELHUAIN - MITOCOCHA OR JANCA
From Quartelhuain, a small hamlet, the trail ascents in about 2 hours towards Cacananpunta Pass (4685 masl) and then descents towards Mitococha Lake at the feet of the small Jirishanca or Ninashanca peaks. Taking the normal route you arrive to Janca. The campsite in Mitococha is small, if there is a big group the campsite must be in Janca. BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER INCLUDED.
DAY 4: MITOCOCHA - CARHUACOCHA
Alter breakfast it starts of the ascent of
2 to 3 hours to Carhuac Pass (4650 masl) where you can have a glimpse of
the small Jirishanca. Then trail goes down towards Carhuacoha Lake in approximately
1 hour, during the trail you appreciate Jirishanca and Yerupaja. Dinner and
overnight at the campsite at the shores of the lake. BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND
DINNER INCLUDED.
DAY 5: CARHUACOCHA - HUAYHUASH
This day there are two options: the first one taking the normal route of the donkeys (4-5 hours) towards Punta Carnicero Pass (4600 masl) and then descents to Huayhuash campsite and the second optins is to climb up Siula Pass (4800 masl) by a steep trail but with a magnificent view of three turquoise lakes at the feet of Siula Peak (6-7 hours). On the way, it is also possible to appreciate Carnicerococha Lake at the feet of the impressive Carnicero Peak. Dinner and overnight campsite. BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER INCLUDED.
DAY 6: HUAYHUASH - VICONGA
Early in the morning start of the ascent to Portachuelo de Huayhuash Pass (4750 masl). On the way you can appreciate Trapecio (5653 masl), Sueroraju (5439 masl) and the Puscanturpas peaks (5550 masl) and the dam-lake of Viconga. It is also possible to take a bath in the natural thermal water rivers of Viconga. Arrival to the campsite in front of the Pariauccros Peaks (5572 m.s.n.m.) after 7 or 8 hours. Dinner and overnight campsite. BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER INCLUDED.
DAY 7: VICONGA - CAJATAMBO - LIMA
Very early in the morning ascent to the pass 4150 masl that takes us to the town of Cajatambo where the transportation waits to take you directly to Lima city. The cook and guide descent in Pativilca to take a bus to Huaraz city and you continue with the private transportation to Lima city. Arrival in Lima late at night and transfer to your hotel. BREAKFAST AND LUNCH INCLUDED.
