(08/26/2010)The new boardwalk in Mancora beach, which will be 150m long, will be ready in three weeks, according to Romy Tello, from the Regional Directorate of Trade and Tourism, Dircetur.

“The works are 90% advanced. This boardwalk will have an illumination system and public restrooms,” she said.
Dircetur's Director, Elizabeth Calle Ato, said that this is expected to attract more tourists, domestic and foreigners, and will also promote development in the district.
Calle Ato also said that her office will give local youngsters instruction on how to treat tourists. “We want local residents to get involved in the development of the town,” she said.
