Peru: Nasca aerodrome to be equipped with surveillance cameras

(08/31/2010)The Municipality of Vista Alegre, which is in charge of the administration of the Nasca aerodrome, reported that it will equipped with the surveillance TV cameras, as a way to enforce the safety of the travelers.

The project should be ready in some 25 days, according to a report published today by TNews.

“The surveillance plan is being prepared by an independient specialist, who must adjust the project to the specifications required by the authorities. We think that the project will be ready in some 25 days, to be then evaluated by the state supervising agency,” said a spokesperson from the Municipality of Vista Alegre.

He also said that there's another project intended to create a place inside the building, to host the passengers who have already passed the security check.
