Orient Express to invest US $16 million in its sixth hotel in Peru

(10/01/2010)Orient-Express Hotels Trains & Cruises announces that it will open a five-star hotel in Cusco, during the first quarter of 2012, reports Semana Economica.
The British company will invest some US $16 million in remodeling and enhance the Beaterio de Las Nazarenas, since the Carmelite Nuns Congregation, owner of this historic place, has granted Orient Express a 30-year concession.
The whole place has an area of 5,000 m2, where 54 suites will be built.
This will be the 6tth hotel that this chain runs in Peru.
